Garden Knomes
Today I walked Leon to the metro and on my way went to the Danube. Early in the morning its quite still and peaceful. I saw two swans swimming up stream and enjoyed the nice weather. It has been the warmest day so far...and still for half the day I sweater had to be worn. Anyway, I picked Leon from school and went up to Omas appartment and visited her and the caregiver from slovakia (i think). We played memory, but modified it so that oma could play aswell. She like play by flipping all the cards right side up and then searching for the pairs. Later on, she got up and looked out the wondow at the courtyard bellow. The caregiver asked her if anything was new...of course this was ment sarcastically because nothing ever changes in that courtyard. She looks at him in a seriouse manor and says "Their are two men down their". He got up quickly and replied " where, I dont see them". She once again pointed them out and he started laughing. It turns out that the two short gentleman standing in the courtyard were in reality garden knomes.

I like the map of where you've been so far, and I also enjoyed the slide show (although I wish it had been longer - I'll check facebook for more photos). Oma's mistake was a natural one - I've barked at those phony dogs on a stake in the cemetery, it's hard to tell what's real and what's not from a window.
