Damn Knifes

On the 27th of December i was opening a present that eva had sent over. I was using a very small knife, the blade was no larger than an inch long, and it accidentally slipped. I cut myself and dismissed it. After a while the bleeding would surely cease. I took a shower, picked up some groceries, and cleaned the house however the cut continued to bleed. Freya came home from from work and told be i had to go to the hospital because it was deep, so i went. I was a little disappointed because Kathy, Adam, Jill, and Mierelle were coming over for a delicious turkey dinner. I missed the family gathering, however the hospital visit was very quick. I was in and out in less than two hours. They had to numb my finger which really hurt but after that i didn't feel a thing. I had a rubber ring on which was cutting off my circulation which was kind of uncomfortable. Anyway, i got 8 stitches and have to go see the hand surgeon on monday because i cut 75% of my tendon. Hopefully all will be well and heal without surgery. It sucks because I'm on antibiotics and couldn't drink last night to celebrate my birthday at midnight (Today is my birthday and I'm 23!!). I also cant drink on New Years Eve but oh well. Its probably for the best. Anyway, my new years resolution, at least of of them, is to start writing my blog again! Its shocking how much one forgets. We went and viewed the Hobbit 2 today. I liked it however the weather was pretty miserable. I seem to have a cold. :(
